Another NACS Show is in the books.

NACS 2017 proved to be at once a slew of new products and a concentration on core offerings. On-trend new flavors were once again at the forefront of innovation, with spicy heat finally taking a back seat to breakfast flavors. From jerky to chocolate, exhibitors at this year's show put an emphasis on convenience, with a nod to quality and authenticity.

1. Jack Link's Beef Steakstrip

Jack Link's Beef Steakstrip

Now available in bar form, the Beef Steakstrip from Jack Link's is made with 100% beef and comes in two flavors: Teriyaki and Original. With just 70 calories per bar, and 8 grams of protein, the 0.9-ounce bar is now available in a convenient bar format, complete with grill marks.

2. Prairie City Ooey Gooey Butter Cakes

Prairie City Ooey Gooey Butter Cakes

Ooey Gooey Butter Cakes from Prairie City Bakery are now available in Key Lime and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip flavors. These individually wrapped 2-ounce cakes are a two-layer treat. Thaw-and-sell Ooey Gooey Butter Cakes have a 45-day shelf life and come packed in an attractive, compact merchandiser.

3. Lorissa's Kitchen Beef Sticks

Lorissa's Kitchen Beef Sticks

Lorissa's Kitchen released its Beef Sticks, made with 100% grass-fed beef. Available in Smokey Sweet, Original and Jalapeno flavors, these better-for-you sticks are very flavorful, with 6 grams of protein per serving. All Lorissa's Kitchen products are free from MSG, preservatives, nitrates or nitrites, added growth hormones and gluten.

4. Mars Wrigley Confectionery Maltesers

Mars Wrigley Confectionery Maltesers

Available for the first time stateside earlier this year, Maltesers are a chocolate covered malted-milk candy from Mars Wrigley Confectionery. The company unveiled a fun new share-size package at the show made from paperboard with a resealable tab. The new package has other features that include built-in games and other interactive qualities.

5. Oberto Pepperoni Jerky

Oberto Pepperoni Jerky

Oberto has expanded its mission to provide delicious, convenient and better-for-you snack products with its Oberto Pepperoni Jerky. This portable pepperoni snack does not require refrigeration. The new product has 11 grams of protein per serving and contains only all-natural ingredients.

6. PowerBar Jerky & Nut savory snack bar

PowerBar Jerky & Nut savory snack bar

Each PowerBar Jerky & Nut savory snack bar contains 10 grams of protein and is made with 100% American beef and contains no artificial sweeteners. This new product will be available in Teriyaki, Original and Barbeque flavors. The product will be available at 15 bars per carton, and eight cartons per case.

7. Ritz Crisp & Thins

Ritz Crisp & Thins

Ritz Crips & Thins from Mondelez are now available in a single-serve, c-store grab-and-go size. These oven-baked crackers are available in Salt & Vinegar, Cream Cheese & Onion, Bacon and Sea Salt flavors.

8. Toxic Waste Candy Smog Balls

Toxic Waste Candy Smog Balls

Toxic Waste Candy Smog Balls are crunchy sour candy with a sour, chewy center. This product comes in a stand-up pouch that includes six different sour flavors: Lime, Cherry, Strawberry, Lemon, Blue Raspberry and Grape. While not a new product, the company is releasing new packaging that touts the product's low-calorie attributes. At three servings per pouch, the candy only has 107 calories per serving. 

9. Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkies

Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkies

Released officially this summer, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkie combines the nostalgia of the original snack cake with an uber-popular twist. The fluffy chocolate cake is filled with a peanut butter cream. And just like the original, these Twinkies come two per pack.
