To that end, CardHub has projected the most popular gift cards of 2015, according to its data.

Gift cards aren’t just for gifts anymore. Consumers view them as viable payment options. In fact, gift cards are considered the second most secure form of payment behind cash, according to InComm’s annual consumer attitudinal survey.
