With this list, Convenience Store Products hopes to direct your attention to some of the products that you may have missed over the past few months—some of which were even launched at the recent Sweets & Snacks Expo in May.

1. Truth Bar

Probiotics—live bacteria and yeasts known for their health benefits—are emerging in snacks outside the yogurt family. Truth Bars are made with natural ingredients fortified with prebiotics and probiotics to ultimately support digestive health and provide a healthy balance of fiber, fats and protein, according to the Waltham, Mass.-based company of the same name.

Truth Bars come in five flavors: Dark Chocolate Coconut, Chocolate Raspberry Coconut, Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch, Mint Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Almond Crunch. The 1.76-ounce bars also come in 12-count and 36-count packages and are available at various retailers nationwide.

2. Organic Fruit Shreds

Frisco, Texas-based Jamba Juice’s Raspberry Blueberry Fruit Shreds are made from real fruit, offering a full day’s serving of vitamin C, according to Jamba Juice. They’re organic, Non-GMO Project verified and gluten-free, and they have 90 calories per serving.

Other restaurant brands that have launched snack products this year include Taco Bell and On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina with Supreme Sunflower Seeds and Nacho Cheese corn chips, respectively.

3. Sonoma Creamery Cheese Crisp Bar

Sonoma, Calif.-based cheese producer Sonoma Creamery debuted a snack bar baked from natural cheese this spring. Sonoma’s Cheese Crips Bars come in five flavors: Parmesan, Everything Cheddar, Savory Seed, Pepper Jack and Bacon Cheddar. The bars are high-protein, low-carb snack options that contain 110 to 120 calories per 2-bar pack. They have a suggested retail price of $1.99.

4. Vanilla Little Bites

In May, Horsham, Pa.-based Bimbo Bakeries USA launched its limited-edition Entenmann's Little Bites Vanilla Naturally Flavored Muffins at retailers nationwide.

The flavored treats expand the brand’s Little Muffins baked snacks. Other flavors include Blueberry, Banana, Chocolate Chip, Fudge and Strawberry. The vanilla muffins are 190 calories per pouch and contain no trans fats.

5. Stryve Protein Beef Biltong

Stryve's Original Gourmet Beef Biltong is made with natural ingredients and cured for 21 days before being packaged. The meat snack is health in a bag: each pouch contains 36 grams of protein, 2 carbohydrates, 1 gram of fat and 180 calories.

Stryve’s Beef Biltong comes in five four flavors: Original, Zesty Garlic, Peri-Peri, Smoked and Teriyaki. Plano, Texas-based Stryve Foods acquired Biltong USA in January 2018.
