This sparkling mineral water came to the United States from Mexico, where it is bottled from a spring at the bottom of the Cerro del Topo Chico mountain, near the city of Monterrey. Available for purchase since 1895, the product has a mineral composition that includes sodium, magnesium, potassium and manganese. It’s very popular in craft-cocktail establishments, and some are touting its functional benefits.
